About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Patient Registration Supervisor, the incumbent has the primary function to balance and prepare the daily deposit for over the counter receipts. As a secondary function, the incumbent support Patient Registration in the capacity of Patient Registration Representative. The Incumbent is to work in a cooperative manner to fulfill the goals of the department and hospital displaying courtesy with all patients, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Must be able to provide proof of work authorization

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
Patient Registration Experience
Knowledge of Health Care Industry/Insurance Contracts
Computer Literacy
High School Diploma or equivalent
