This position involves supervising all activities of the student organization, the Pep Club (Fall). The sponsor will oversee elections, approve candidates, train officers and members, and guide the club's operations. They will also be responsible for approving club announcements, meeting dates, activities, and promotional materials. Attendance at all club meetings, social affairs, and fund-raising activities is required, as is representation at Presidents Council Meetings and Activity Night/Booster Award Night. The sponsor will also manage an annual inventory of equipment and supplies, complete required forms and reports, and consult with the Assistant Principal for Student Services (APSS) as needed. Coordination with APSS and/or Activity Director for account access in Skyward is also a responsibility. The role requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, write professional communications, present information effectively, and maintain positive working relationships with staff and community members. Strong oral and written communication skills, basic mathematical abilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain current job skills, especially in technology, are essential. The employee must also perform duties with an awareness of school district requirements and School Board policies.
