About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Interface Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft applications with internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms. The role focuses on the integration layer, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling. The developer will use hands-on Integration Broker expertise, broader PeopleTools knowledge, and API and integration design patterns to deliver production-ready solutions.

The role works closely with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions. It also involves contributing to code and design reviews and mentoring more junior engineers. Strong engineering discipline, clear communication, and a record of delivering reliable production work are expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with web service security standards, including WS-Security and OAuth2.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with middleware platforms such as OIC, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
• PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Exposure to event-driven integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling for PeopleSoft.
• Strong understanding of API management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft applications to internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms.
• Develop and maintain integration-layer components, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling.
• Translate requirements from cross-functional stakeholders into well-engineered solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews.
• Mentor more junior engineers.
• Support PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.
