We are seeking a PeopleSoft Functional Consultant to join our team, contributing to a PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrade and enhancements project for a U.S. federal utility. This role involves leading functional activities throughout the project lifecycle, including study, design, build, test, and deployment phases. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, creating functional design documentation, mapping processes, and supporting testing efforts. Requirements
- 6-7 years of PeopleSoft HCM experience (9.x version strongly preferred)
- 6+ years supporting SDLC functional activities (requirements, design, testing)
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM modules (Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Labor)
- Experience with PeopleSoft upgrade projects, preferably to version 9.2
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
- U.S. person
- Must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred
- Federal client experience preferred
- PeopleSoft certification(s) beneficial but not required
Responsibilities
- Lead functional activities for a PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrade project.
- Gather requirements from client stakeholders.
- Create functional design documentation for PeopleSoft HCM modules.
- Map as-is and to-be processes.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis between current functionality and PeopleSoft 9.2 capabilities.
- Create test plans.
- Coordinate testing activities with client stakeholders.
- Support the Study, Design, Build/Test, and Deployment phases of the project.
