About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support the implementation of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, with a focus on the Accounts Receivable and Billing modules. This role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, mapping data between legacy and third-party interface systems, and supporting end-to-end testing efforts. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can work effectively within a large, distributed team supporting a public sector technology initiative.

Requirements

8+ years of experience as a business/systems analyst working with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.
8+ years of experience specifically with Accounts Receivable and Billing module implementations.
8+ years of experience gathering requirements and conducting fit-gap analysis with subject matter experts.
8+ years of experience performing hands-on, end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces.
At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
At least 2 years of experience using Microsoft Teams in a large team setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively within a large remote team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and independent decision-making.
Ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects with a high degree of creativity and latitude.
Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and business audiences.
Comfortable working within a large, distributed, remote team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and process-mapping skills.
Adaptable to evolving project phases, including potential shifts in work location expectations.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with a public sector organization (federal, state, or local government).
Experience with state government financial systems (e.g., CAPPS Financials or similar platforms).
Experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
Experience with SharePoint.
Experience with Jira.
Experience working within a Scrum framework.
Experience with STAT (software change management tool).

Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements, current procedures, and business problems to identify opportunities to automate or improve existing systems.
Confer with business and technical stakeholders to define input/output requirements, data formats, and reporting needs.
Write detailed documentation of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify system functionality.
Conduct fit-gap analysis with subject matter experts to align business needs with system capabilities.
Support implementation of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.
Map data between legacy systems and third-party interface systems.
Evaluate system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to determine feasibility of requested changes.
Perform hands-on, end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces.
Support functional and regression testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare clear, detailed documentation of processes, requirements, and system changes.
Support training efforts and knowledge transfer for end users.
Work effectively with a large, remote, cross-functional team.
Communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
Participate in team collaboration tools and meetings to ensure alignment on project goals.
