About The Position

This role requires a skilled PeopleSoft Developer proficient in Financials 9.2 and PUM 53. The developer will provide functional support for PeopleSoft Project Implementations, ensuring adherence to statewide configuration and accounting procedures. Key responsibilities include translating functional requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with various stakeholders (Business Analysts, System Analysts, System Integrators, Oracle, CAR, and other external stakeholders), and effectively communicating with agency, technical, and functional users. The role also involves updating documentation, preparing test scenarios and materials, and designing processes within Accounts Payable and Travel and Expense modules. A strong understanding of State of Oklahoma Accounting procedures, policies, and standards is essential. The developer will also be involved in testing patches, fixes, Financials PUM Upgrades, and PeopleSoft Test Framework maintenance.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Financials 9.2, PUM 53.
  • Knowledgeable in Grants, Projects Costing, Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Treasury, General Ledger, Commitment Control, and Asset Management.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Ability to work with and proficiently communicate with agency, technical and functional users.
  • Proficient in Component Interfaces, SQR, App Engine, People Code, PeopleTools, SQL Developer, Bl Publisher.
  • Thorough understanding of State of Oklahoma Accounting procedures, policies, and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for PeopleSoft Project Implementations.

  • Communicate effectively with agency, technical and functional users.
  • Update manuals, job aids, SOPs and other documents as needed.
  • Prepare test scenarios, test scripts and training materials and configuration documents as needed.
  • Identify and document workflow requirements and design a process that meets both agency and statewide requirements within Accounts Payable and Travel and Expense modules.
  • Provide functional production support for all respective PeopleSoft Modules.
  • Identify risks and obstacles within a project and provide a thorough assessment to FCoE, IS, CAR and other OMES leadership.
  • Assist with testing patches and fixes, as well as Financials PUM Upgrade testing, as well as PeopleSoft Test Framework maintenance and scripts for testing.
