About The Position

This is a hybrid role for a PeopleSoft Administrator, with opportunities to work onsite in Albany, NY or NYC. The primary focus is to define and implement strategies and technology that ensures the seamless integration of data and application interfaces within the PeopleSoft ecosystem. The role involves supporting technical aspects of implementation, including environment builds, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of various PeopleSoft components. Key responsibilities include performing PeopleTools Upgrades, PUM Updates, patching, supporting integration and testing phases, and resolving identified bugs. The administrator will also coordinate cross-team support activities, manage PeopleSoft integrations with NYS Identity and Access Management and Multi-Factor Authentication, and support Integration Broker Services. Collaboration with technical and functional teams, developers, and business units for environment requests, migrations, and troubleshooting is essential. Additionally, the role involves supporting enterprise-wide tools, performing system monitoring, configuring server settings for optimal performance, and documenting configurations.

Requirements

  • Experience in PeopleSoft administration duties, including but not limited to installation, configuration, tuning, upgrade/patching, and setup and configuration of process scheduler servers, web server domains, and application server domains.
  • Experience as a PeopleSoft administration lead or manager involving large PeopleSoft 9.2 implementations in building, configuring, overseeing, and troubleshooting PeopleSoft application systems in a high availability, fast-paced, on-site environment.
  • Minimum of one project in PeopleTools 8.56 or above.
  • Minimum of one project in implementing Elastic Search.
  • Experience in analyzing and applying PUM images.
  • Experience in working with Infrastructure team members (network, systems, security, and DBAs) to build and deliver services in a stable, highly available, and secure multi-instance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support technical aspects of the implementation (environment builds).
  • Perform installation, configuration/application triage of the various software components of PeopleSoft (WebLogic, Tuxedo, ElasticSearch) for new HRMS required environment with latest technology stack.
  • Perform PeopleTools Upgrades, PUM Updates and other application related patching.
  • Support integration, performance, QA testing and work on break/fixes for identified bugs.
  • Assist in coordination of cross-team support activities related to the upkeep of the PeopleSoft environments per project timeline.
  • Support the activities related to PeopleSoft Integration with NYS Identity and Access Management and Multi-Factor Authentication.
  • Support activities related to Integration Broker Services.
  • Support the technical and functional teams, developers and business units with environment requests, migrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform tasks to support enterprise-wide tools (e.g., file transfer protocol, scheduler, etc.).
  • Perform system monitoring activities and configure the relevant server settings for optimum system performance.
  • Research, resolve, test, and document configurations.
