About The Position

Redstone Residential is seeking a People/HR Coordinator to manage the operations of the People Team for their 650+ team members across 140+ properties. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the People Team, handling ticket triaging, processing payroll-related tasks, and managing recognition programs. The position requires a blend of systems thinking and interpersonal skills, ideal for someone who thrives on organization, accuracy, and supporting others. The role offers a growth path into more advanced People Team responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of administrative, customer service, or operations experience, ideally in HR, payroll, or a high-volume service environment.
  • A track record of managing high-volume inboxes or ticket queues with accuracy.
  • Comfort with HRIS systems (UKG preferred) and Microsoft 365.
  • Clear, warm, professional communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • A hospitality mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with employment verifications, garnishments / IWOs, or benefits administration.
  • Experience with Freshservice or similar ticketing systems.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish).

Responsibilities

  • Triage and resolve incoming tickets and emails, including employment verifications, garnishments and IWOs, benefits questions, and life events.
  • Process incoming mail, such as state agency notices, Workers Comp requests, and regulatory correspondence.
  • Approve UKG notifications for direct deposit changes, team changes, and benefit elections.
  • Address W2 issues, tax adjustments, and quarterly filings in coordination with payroll.
  • Resolve UKG help requests, including timecard and login issues.
  • Process new-hire benefits approvals and life event documentation.
  • Manage PT-to-FT benefit transitions, including team member communications and enrollment timing.
  • Manage recognition programs end-to-end, including new-hire boxes, baby gifts, birthday recognition, and anniversary rewards.
  • Maintain documentation and processes as the People Team grows.
