About The Position

Blockworks is seeking a People & Talent Partner to support the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture team. This role will work closely with the Head of Talent & Organizational Effectiveness, focusing on recruiting, onboarding, employee support, and People operations to ensure smooth processes as the company scales. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and enjoys helping people and keeping operations running efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating positive employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of experience in HR, Recruiting, Talent Operations, People Operations, or a related people-focused role.
  • Experience supporting people programs and processes.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with managers or teams.
  • Understanding of the importance of organization and follow-through in a growing company.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and stay organized in fast-moving environments.
  • Experience coordinating interviews, supporting onboarding tasks, maintaining employee records or systems, and supporting recruiting or HR workflows.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Empathy and a desire to help things run smoothly.
  • Comfortability with being uncomfortable and adapting to frequent experimentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Experience supporting both recruiting and HR operations.
  • Experience coordinating onboarding, employee processes, documentation, or recruiting workflows.
  • Familiarity with tools like Ashby, Sequoia, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, or similar systems.
  • Interest in crypto, fintech, or technology.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, promotions, transfers, offboarding, employee records updates, payroll coordination support, leave administration support, benefits administration support, documentation updates, and general People team administration.
  • Maintain accurate employee information across HR and recruiting systems, trackers, documentation, and internal records.
  • Coordinate onboarding from offer acceptance through the first 90 days, including scheduling, communications, documentation, employee setup, and ensuring new hires feel prepared.
  • Support recruiting and hiring coordination, including resume screening, interview scheduling, sourcing support, candidate communication, and maintaining a positive candidate experience.
  • Help coordinate onboarding experiences, employee touchpoints, engagement activities, internal communications, and company programs that support the employee experience.
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, hiring managers, and leadership to coordinate People-related workflows, scheduling, communications, and day-to-day operational support.
  • Assist with onboarding sessions, team initiatives, internal programming, and coordination for company events.
  • Provide general People team support, including documentation updates, administrative tasks, recruiting coordination, and employee requests.
