The HR Generalist serves as the primary on‑site People & Talent resource for assigned entities, providing frontline human resources support and administrative services in a healthcare environment. This role delivers Tier 1 support to People & Talent Centers of Excellence (COEs), manages essential on‑site operations, and supports team member engagement activities that foster connection, belonging, and operational excellence. The HR Generalist is responsible for day‑to‑day employee-facing HR services including team member badge printing, maintaining the local People & Talent office, responding to routine HR inquiries, and coordinating engagement and onboarding‑related administrative activities. This role acts as a connector between team members, leaders, and centralized People & Talent teams, ensuring timely issue resolution, accurate information flow, and a positive team member experience aligned with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, values, and regulatory requirements.
