AOI is looking for a relationship-driven, highly organized HR professional to join our People Growth & Development team as a People Support Specialist. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with strong involvement in talent acquisition, HRIS administration, onboarding, and employee development.
Experience coordinating full-cycle recruiting and building successful hiring partnerships with leaders.
Strong understanding of employee benefits administration and HR best practices.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

Nice To Haves

Construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and attract top talent.
Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and pre-employment activities.
Build strong talent pipelines through networking, career fairs, industry associations, and community partnerships.
Deliver an exceptional onboarding experience by coordinating new hire orientation, first-day logistics, HRIS documentation, and seamless transitions into department training.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
Assist with employee benefits and employee education while serving as a resource for benefits-related questions.
Serve as a trusted HR resource by supporting employees and leaders with learning and development initiatives, employee training, and special projects that strengthen organizational culture.
