Our communities are growing and so is our corporate team! We’re hiring a People Relations Manager at our corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years focused on employee relations and workplace investigations.
• 2+ years of experience supervising or leading HR team members.
• Thorough knowledge of federal and Arizona employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and ADEA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence and advise leaders at all levels of the organization.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including intermediate Excel knowledge.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
• Workplace investigations training or certification preferred.
• Experience with an HRIS (Paylocity preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee objective, well-documented investigations.
• Make sound, defensible recommendations regarding employee relations matters.
• Respond to agency charges.
• Advise leaders at all levels of the organization.
• Identify trends, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Travel to communities across the Valley up to 80% of the time.
