About The Position

Partners with Business Unit, Entity, or workgroup leadership to execute People Practices strategies that support workforce effectiveness, engagement, and inclusion. Provides guidance on employee relations, talent management, and organizational needs while ensuring consistent application of People Practices programs and policies. Coaches People Practices Advisors and collaborates across People Operations to support business outcomes. This role supports a strategic mega/mobility project and serves as an embedded People Practices Business Partner partnering closely with project leadership and the on-site workforce. This is a regular full-time, permanent position with DPR Construction and is assigned to support a mega/mobility Project.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
7–10 years of People Practices or human resources experience required.
Full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday)
Assigned to a large-scale mega/mobility Project location within the United States
Daily in-person presence on the project site is required
This is not a remote or hybrid role
Candidates may be based anywhere in the U.S.; however, they must be willing to relocate to or travel to the assigned project location
Ability to support the project on-site for the duration of the assignment is required

Nice To Haves

Experience in a managerial or advisory capacity preferred.
Human resources, organizational effectiveness, or talent management certification preferred (for e.g., SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Partners with leaders to execute People Practices strategies supporting engagement, workforce planning, performance management, and employee experience.
Provides guidance to coaches on employee relations matters, partnering with Workplace Services on complex situations.
Supports succession planning, career development, and performance processes aligned with business needs.
Leads implementation of culture, engagement, and inclusion initiatives within the organization served.
Coaches and develops People Practices Advisor(s) to build capability and consistency.
Collaborates with Centers of Excellence and People Operations to ensure alignment and continuous improvement of practices.
Uses People Practices metrics and insights to inform decisions and improve organizational effectiveness.
