THE POSITION : The People Partner – Europe reports to the Senior People Director – Europe and works closely with both European and global HR teams, as well as cross-functional partners such as Finance, Payroll, and Legal. The role also collaborates, where relevant, with external HR partners and service providers, supporting the HR needs of managers and employees across the allocated region. This role is a key contributor to the success of our growth and operations in the region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This includes implementing, reinforcing, and evaluating legally compliant HR policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as fostering a positive and productive work environment that supports employee well-being, engagement, and development. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional who is able to combine strategic thinking with hands-on, operational approach, gets energized by working in global and dynamic organizations, likes driving HR initiatives and process improvements, acts a trusted partner to the business and is solution oriented, team player and has a positive mindset. To be considered for this role, candidates must be based in Ireland (home office), and have solid HR track record in more than 1 country in Europe: France is mandatory required Previous HR experience in any of these countries would be highly appreciated: UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Finland.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 -10 years of previous HR operations experience, out of which 3-5 years within an international environment ( previous HR experience in France is a must )
  • Proven working experience of employment-related laws and regulations in more than one European country: France is mandatory, any of these countries would be highly appreciated: UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Finland.
  • Fluent in English and French , any other European language will be a plus
  • Keen attention to detail, experience in organizing and leading projects with many different data sources
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Pragmatic, hands-on attitude, solution oriented
  • Flexible, adaptable, comfortable in dealing with change and competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, data-driven mentality
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Experience with a comprehensive HRIS systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR leadership to understand business needs across Europe and support day-to-day HR operations.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, compensation and benefits, absence management, employee data, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Ensure data integrity across HR systems and tools.
  • Act as liaison between Shared Services (HR, Finance, Legal) and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage interactions with authorities and external providers related to C&B, social security, and mobility.
  • Support the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Administer HR programs including performance and talent management, recognition, morale, development, leaves, disciplinary matters, and investigations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local laws.
  • Stay current on HR trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, including AI applications in HR.
  • Support international mobility and relocation processes.
  • Guide stakeholders through sensitive conversations and transitions.
  • Lead or support initiatives in training, diversity, inclusion, and engagement.
  • Act as an ambassador for company culture and support internal communication.
  • Demonstrate commitment to DE&I through inclusive behaviors and proactive bias management.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
  • All other duties as assigned
