About The Position

We’re looking for a strategic People Partner who wants their work to matter — supporting the teams that help young people break free from mental health and substance use challenges. As People Partner East, you’ll sit at the intersection of strategy and impact. You’re not just filling seats or managing paperwork — you’re partnering with operational leaders to build the kind of teams that show up every day for the young people who need them most. This is a full-spectrum generalist role: workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance, and compliance — with the autonomy to lead and the support of a collaborative People & Empowerment team behind you.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in HR — generalist, TA, or a blend — with hands-on experience in employee relations and performance management
  • Deep fluency in employment law, regulations, and HR best practices
  • A natural relationship-builder who can influence at every level of the organization
  • Data-informed decision-maker who thinks strategically and acts decisively
  • Proven ability to navigate complex ER situations and drive positive organizational change
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments; comfortable managing competing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary People & Culture partner for assigned facilities
  • Partner with leaders to align People strategies with operational goals
  • Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, and leadership
  • Drive engagement, retention, and workforce planning initiatives
  • Lead proactive hiring across the East region
  • Own sourcing strategy, candidate evaluation, offers, and onboarding coordination
  • Partner with the TA Specialist to build pipelines and drive timely hiring outcomes
  • Use data and insights to improve hiring effectiveness and maintain staffing levels
  • Conduct thorough, objective investigations on ER matters
  • Advise leaders on HR policies, employment law, leave administration, and compliance
  • Support corrective action processes with coaching and guidance
  • Foster a respectful, accountable, and positive work environment
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records and employee documentation
  • Monitor regional engagement, retention, and People metrics
  • Support implementation of org-wide People programs
  • Collaborate with the broader People & Empowerment Team on consistency and execution
