About The Position

This role is the execution layer for People Operations in Redwood City. You'll manage daily office operations, execute onboarding, support our recruiting function, and build the systems and documentation that help us scale. This role is onsite at our Redwood City Office at least 3 days a week.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years in office management, People Ops coordination, HR, or a closely related role
  • Direct experience with an HRIS platform; Rippling strongly preferred
  • High ownership mentality—you are not someone who waits to be told what to do. You see what needs to happen and make it happen
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Understanding and experience processing confidential information and private HR-related matters
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff
  • Actively curious about AI tools and building innovative solutions
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Rippling (HRIS), Sequoia (PEO), Lever (ATS), Lattice (Performance), Google Workspace, Slack

Responsibilities

  • Execute aspects of onboarding including HRIS setup in Rippling and Sequoia, system access, equipment coordination, and Day 1 logistics
  • Maintain HRIS hygiene by keeping Rippling and employee data clean and audit-ready
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to coordinate the recruiting process
  • Own the candidate experience, from posting roles to ensuring smooth interviews to sending offer letters through our HRIS
  • Manage the daily office environment including supplies, snacks, desks, AV equipment, and common areas
  • Serve as the first point of contact for office-related issues—you either fix it or escalate it quickly
  • Partner with IT to manage building access and visitor protocols
  • Coordinate with building management, IT, and facilities vendors
  • Coordinate office events, team gatherings, and culture programming
  • Support offsite logistics including venue research, contracts, vendor management, and on-site execution
  • Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and internal company intranet in Google Sites
  • Identify manual, repetitive workflows and propose automation or AI-assisted solutions
