People Operations Specialist

About The Position

Steadily is hiring a People Operations Specialist. This is not a narrow, traditional HR role. We’re a fast-growing company, and we like people who can own things, solve problems, and wear more than one hat. You’ll help coordinate the people side of the business while also keeping the office operating smoothly day to day. You won’t be forming any wellness committees or interest groups. That means HR, onboarding, benefits, licensing, IT support, and office operations. If something important needs to get done and no one else owns it yet, there’s a good chance it lands with you. You’ll report to the Director of Talent and work closely with leadership across the company.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in HR, people ops, or a similar hands-on role.
  • Comfortable with compliance, employee relations basics, benefits administration, documentation, and knowing when to escalate.
  • You’re highly comfortable with computers, software, and systems. Setting up laptops and troubleshooting common issues does not intimidate you.
  • You build systems, stay ahead of deadlines, and keep track of many moving parts without dropping balls.
  • You’ll handle sensitive information. You know how to be discreet, professional, and trustworthy.
  • You can figure things out quickly, find answers, and solve problems without needing constant direction.
  • You notice what needs attention and take care of it.
  • You’re excited to join a growing company, work hard, and grow quickly with it.
