About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused People Operations Specialist who will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle. This position combines strategic people operations initiatives with hands-on HR administrative support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience while ensuring efficient HR processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or administrative support roles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • High School diploma
  • 2+ years’ experience in an HR role
  • Proficient in excel and general database programs
  • Must be proficient in excel and general database programs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS systems
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and coordination
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Prepare HR-related documents such as offer letters, employment verifications, and 30 day onboarding surveys.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment records
  • Responsible for maintaining all job boards and working with all outside recruiters and agencies.
  • Attend job fairs and recruiting events and actively work to promote our open positions to colleges and other agencies in the community.
  • Conduct employee orientation on a rotating basis and issue employee badges and replacements.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR/People team
  • Assist in organizing company events, trainings, and engagement activities
  • Continuously look for ways to improve HR processes and efficiencies
