Karbon is seeking an AI-native People Operations Manager to lead the operational backbone of their global People team. This role will focus on architecting and improving the end-to-end People Ops and TA operational stack, with a strong emphasis on embedding AI agents and agentic workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-growth tech environments, a deep understanding of multi-country HR compliance, and a proven ability to leverage AI for automation and efficiency. This is a strategic role focused on designing how work gets done, rather than executing manual tasks. The People Operations Manager will be responsible for designing and deploying AI agents to manage routine operational tasks, including onboarding, compliance documentation, offer generation, interview scheduling, and employee queries. They will also use AI to manage multi-country HR compliance, build AI-powered reporting and analytics, and run the People tech stack as an integrated, AI-augmented system. The role includes supporting the TA function with forecasting and data integrity, owning benefits administration for the US entity, and leveraging AI to enhance the employee experience. Additionally, the manager will drive AI-led process documentation, partner with other departments using AI-augmented workflows, coach the People team on AI fluency, and own AI governance for the People function.
