About The Position

Mavida Health is an online therapy and psychiatry platform focused on supporting women through major transitional moments in life. Now a WPS Health Solutions company, Mavida Health combines the speed, autonomy, and impact of a high-growth startup with the resources and reach of a legacy healthcare organization. The team is small, nimble, and mission-driven. We are looking for people who are excited to build, innovate, and help redefine women's mental healthcare at scale. We are looking to bring on a full-time People Operations Manager to take the lead on talent acquisition across the organization, while also supporting our day-to-day HR operations as we scale. You'll own how we find, attract, and welcome talent for every kind of position, clinical and non-clinical alike, while building the people infrastructure that keeps a fast-moving team running smoothly. As we grow, the scope of hiring will only expand, and you'll help shape how we do it.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in talent acquisition and/or HR, ideally within healthcare, behavioral health, or telehealth
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting talent (specifically clinical) strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of clinical licensure and a general understanding of how credentialing and payer enrollment fit into the hiring lifecycle
  • A self-starter with a "no problem is too big or too small" attitude who thrives with autonomy
  • Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Passion for women's healthcare, maternal healthcare, and/or mental healthcare—and the desire and drive to change the dismal status quo

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for roles across the organization as we continue to grow, with an emphasis on clinical (master’s level Therapists and Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioners) and growth-focused positions (Business Development)
  • Build and manage candidate pipelines in a competitive behavioral health talent market through sourcing, networking, and relationship building
  • Partner closely with clinical and executive leadership to translate hiring needs into clear roles and search strategies
  • Understand the realities of clinical hiring, state licensure, multi-state practice, and how recruiting hands off to credentialing and payer enrollment, so candidates move smoothly from offer to ready-to-see-patients
  • Support recruiting for non-clinical roles (business development, operations, marketing) as needs arise
  • Manage job postings, the applicant tracking process, interview coordination, and a candidate experience that reflects Mavida's mission
  • Help shape and strengthen Mavida Health’s brand to attract mission-aligned talent
  • Run onboarding and offboarding for new hires and contractors
  • Maintain HRIS records and keep people data accurate, organized, and up to date
  • Coordinate benefits, PTO, and leave administration
  • Help keep us compliant with multi-state employment laws and flag risks early
  • Support employee relations, performance check-ins, and the development of practical, scalable HR policies
  • Be comfortable wearing multiple hats, even those that don't fit squarely within a job description

Benefits

  • Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, plus Health Savings Account (HSA) for relevant plans
  • 401(k) through Betterment
  • Flexible PTO: Mavida Health offers paid time off to full-time employees for vacations, holidays, sick days, and personal time, as well as a unique flex time policy that covers shorter breaks
  • Personal equipment budget (Apple laptop + one auxiliary item)
  • Ongoing training around women's unique mood and anxiety disorders
  • Opportunities for ongoing mentorship, in-person meetings, and professional development
