About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic People Operations Generalist to join our team and provide comprehensive HR support across multiple client groups and sites. This role will partner with both corporate functions—including Finance, IT, Supply Chain as well as our Technology teams to deliver exceptional HR services that align with business objectives. The People Operations Generalist is responsible to ensure excellent performance of HR processes and activities by partnering with location management and HR business partners in order to support the achievement of business goals. Other responsibilities include: managing multiple aspects of the employee lifecycle, including, but not limited to: recruiting, employee and union relations (including labor), training and development, performance management, compensation, pension, benefits, etc. Utilize knowledge of local divisional/functional business objectives and functional HR knowledge and expertise to support and advise local leaders and managers on HR-related issues, including policies, processes, programs, etc., to help meet local business goals and objectives. Please note that this role requires on-site presence five days per week, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) across core HR functions
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Capable of multitasking and managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned client groups across multiple locations.
  • Partner with leaders to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning and recruitment coordination.
  • Administer HR policies and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) on compensation, benefits, and learning programs.
  • Manage HR data integrity and reporting through HRIS systems.
  • Assist in change management and communication strategies for organizational initiatives.
