Cloudflare is growing our People team, and we’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to support the AMER People Operations team across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This role is ideal for someone with a project coordination or operations background who enjoys tracking work, maintaining data integrity, and supporting People processes in a fast-paced, global environment. You’ll work closely with People Operations Specialists, HRBPs, Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, and Recruiting to help execute core People workflows and projects. Maintaining accurate People data, supporting employee lifecycle processes, and keeping work moving forward through strong coordination are central to this role.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, HR, or a related role
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Experience working in systems and managing data; Workday experience strongly preferred
  • High attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-focused, collaborative, and proactive working style
  • Project Management a plus!

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting HR or People Operations teams
  • Exposure to enterprise environments or global organizations
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk or similar)
  • Experience with Workday or other HCM’s
  • Interest in growing into a People Operations Specialist or HRIS-focused role

Responsibilities

  • Support employee lifecycle transactions for the AMER region, including onboarding, transfers, job changes, and offboarding, under the guidance of People Operations Specialists
  • Coordinate onboarding documentation, background checks, and compliance-related materials
  • Assist with employee data entry and updates in Workday and related People systems
  • Support People Operations projects by tracking tasks, timelines, and dependencies
  • Follow up with cross-functional partners to ensure deliverables are completed on time
  • Assist with documentation of People processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures
  • Help implement process updates and operational improvements
  • Maintain employee records and files, ensuring documentation is complete and stored appropriately
  • Perform routine and ad hoc data audits in Workday to support data accuracy and compliance
  • Support manual data entry and cleanup efforts as needed
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to People Operations and Payroll through Zendesk or other channels (Tier 0–1)
  • Act as a liaison between employees and People teams to help resolve basic issues
  • Escalate complex questions or issues to Specialists or subject matter experts as needed
  • Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism
  • Support compliance initiatives and records administration under established processes
