About the position
The job overview for the People Operations Coordinator role at VTS is to support the employee population and collaborate with the global team to provide a best-in-class employee experience. This role involves coordinating and implementing initiatives related to benefits administration, people processes, and company-wide projects. The coordinator will also be responsible for onboarding, offboarding, and new hire correspondence, as well as managing administrative aspects of HRIS and Benefits systems. Additionally, the coordinator will serve as a main point of contact for questions related to benefits and people processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the global team to provide a best-in-class employee experience
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of initiatives related to benefits administration, people processes, and company-wide projects
- Own the new hire onboarding process for people ops and benefits
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting and track key People initiatives
- Coordinate and document key talent processes such as onboarding and offboarding
- Maintain monthly benefits billing reconciliation and serve as the first point of contact for benefit inquiries
- Manage administrative aspects for HRIS and Benefits systems with attention to detail
- Collaborate with the finance team to review global payroll
- Act as the main point of contact for the team regarding questions related to Benefits and People processes and functions
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, critical thinking abilities, and organizational skills
- Solve problems and have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be receptive to learning and have an inquisitive mindset
- Work with details and prioritize accuracy in work ethic
- Multitask and be flexible in day-to-day work
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Have at least 1 year of experience working on a People/HR team (including internship experience)
- Hold a Bachelor's degree
