This is a hands-on, high-visibility role that touches nearly every part of the employee lifecycle, making it an ideal starting point for someone looking to grow their career in People & Culture. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about employee engagement, workplace culture, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in HR, office administration, hospitality, coordination, or another people-focused role.
  • A genuine interest in building a career in People & Culture.
  • A reliable, dependable, and proactive approach to work.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, identify practical solutions, and keep things running smoothly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a warm, professional, and service-focused demeanor.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential employee information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS, onboarding, or people systems is a plus but not required.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented attitude and enthusiasm for creating a positive employee experience and workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Seattle office environment to ensure a welcoming, organized, and productive workplace, including maintaining common areas, coordinating furniture and workspace needs, and supporting a positive visitor experience.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities management, office moves, and workspace reconfigurations.
  • Submit and track maintenance requests, coordinate repairs and vendors, and manage related logistics.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, training sessions, and company events, both virtual and in-person, including scheduling, catering, venue preparation, and materials management.
  • Manage office supplies and workplace resources, ensuring timely ordering, inventory management, and restocking.
  • Support workplace health, safety, and security programs by coordinating fire drills, maintaining safety compliance requirements, partnering with building management on emergency procedures, and managing employee access badges.
  • Oversee office mail, shipping, and deliveries, ensuring the efficient receipt, distribution, and shipment of correspondence, packages, and equipment.
  • Support People & Culture programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, well-being, inclusion and belonging, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement opportunities, including community volunteer events, team celebrations, recognition programs, and office-based activities.
  • Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to strengthen culture, foster collaboration, and improve the employee experience.
  • Manage employee swag and gifting programs, including new hire welcome kits, service anniversaries, milestone celebrations, recognition initiatives, and company-wide gifts.
  • Source, order, and distribute swag and gifts while managing vendor relationships, inventory levels, and budget considerations.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, including service anniversaries, birthdays, employee milestones, and appreciation initiatives.
  • Support the administration and promotion of employee feedback and engagement programs, including pulse surveys and company-wide engagement surveys.

  • Own the end-to-end onboarding lifecycle for new hires, from offer acceptance through the first week of employment, ensuring a compliant, engaging, and well-coordinated experience.
  • Support internal communications by drafting decks, announcements, and newsletters, maintaining People & Culture content on company platforms, and sharing key updates.
