About The Position

The People Operations Analyst II is responsible for executing and owning clearly defined People Operations workflows end-to-end. This role builds on foundational execution by taking full accountability for specific processes while continuing to operate within established systems, policies, and SOPs. The Analyst II is accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of assigned workflows, and is expected to exercise sound judgment within defined boundaries while escalating complex or ambiguous issues. Working closely with Senior People Operations leadership, this role ensures operational consistency, supports data integrity, and contributes to process improvements within a structured scope of ownership, including leveraging tools and technology (e.g., AI) to enhance efficiency and workflow effectiveness.

  • Leverage advanced Excel formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF/IFERROR) to reconcile data across systems (e.g., HRIS, benefits, leave vendors), ensuring accuracy and consistency in People reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Execute core HR workflows (onboarding, offboarding, employee changes) with a high degree of accuracy and independence
  • Handle more complex or non-routine transactions with minimal supervision
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Take ownership of specific workflows or process components (e.g., onboarding coordination, reporting cycles, benefits tracking)
  • Monitor process performance and ensure consistency and quality
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Maintain and update employee data in HRIS systems with strong attention to accuracy
  • Support data audits and validation efforts
  • Troubleshoot basic system issues and escalate more complex problems
  • Generate and validate standard reports (headcount, turnover, benefits, compliance)
  • Analyze data for trends or discrepancies and flag insights
  • Support preparation of reports and dashboards for leadership and PBPs
  • Leverage advanced Excel formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF/IFERROR) to reconcile data across systems (e.g., HRIS, benefits, leave vendors), ensuring accuracy and consistency in People reporting.
  • Execute compliance-related processes (audit preparation, compliance monitoring, documentation governance, and internal controls)
  • Ensure records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready
  • Identify risks or inconsistencies and escalate appropriately
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries
  • Resolve moderately complex questions independently
  • Escalate sensitive or high-risk issues appropriately
  • Partner with PBPs, Finance, and vendors to support workflows
  • Coordinate across teams to ensure smooth execution of People Ops processes
