People Development AI & Digital Learning Intern
About The Position
Trimble is seeking a People Development Intern to join its People Experience team at the intersection of AI, user experience design, and modern HR technology. The intern will help build Trimble’s digital learning ecosystem, partner with subject matter experts to publish learning content, and improve the employee experience on the learning platform. The position supports the development of formal AI upskilling content and offers experience in digital content operations and HR technology. The role is based in Westminster, Colorado, with no travel required. The internship is scheduled to run from January 2027 through August or September 2027. The hiring range is $19.62–$29.47 per hour. The position is not bonus- or commission-eligible.
Requirements
- Be in the senior year of college pursuing a degree in Business, Education, Communications, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Be familiar with AI and digital learning platforms, including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude.
- Demonstrate curiosity about AI trends, modern applications, and learning technology.
- Have strong communication skills for collaboration with technical teams and internal stakeholders.
- Have an eye for clean design, intuitive digital content flow, and user experience.
- Have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail when managing digital assets.
Nice To Haves
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to experiment with digital tools and solve platform challenges.
- Previous exposure to digital learning tools, Learning Management Systems, Docebo, or Google Workspace.
Responsibilities
- Partner with subject matter experts to gather learning assets and publish their expertise in the digital learning ecosystem.
- Manage course publishing and media uploads in the Learning Management System while maintaining content governance and metadata standards.
- Explore and test system capabilities as the learning platform experience evolves.
- Organize and publish engaging content across professional development programs in support of the People Experience team.
- Monitor learner engagement, collect user feedback, and propose user experience improvements.
