People Development AI & Digital Learning Intern
About The Position
Trimble’s People Experience team is seeking a People Development Intern to support the development of its digital learning ecosystem, with a focus on AI upskilling content, learning technologies, user experience, and HR tech. The intern will partner with subject matter experts to prepare and publish learning content, manage courses and media in the Learning Management System, and help improve the platform experience. The role also supports professional development programs by organizing and publishing content, monitoring learner engagement, gathering feedback, and suggesting user experience improvements. The position is based in Westminster, Colorado, with no travel required. The internship is scheduled to run from January 2027 through August or September 2027. The company develops technology intended to improve productivity and address challenges across industries including construction, geospatial, and transportation.
Requirements
- Be in the senior year of college, pursuing a degree in Business, Education, Communications, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Have familiarity with AI and digital learning platforms, including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude.
- Demonstrate curiosity about AI trends, modern applications, and learning technology.
- Have strong communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and internal stakeholders.
- Have an eye for clean design, intuitive digital content flow, and user experience.
- Have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail when managing digital assets.

- A proactive mindset and eagerness to experiment with digital tools and solve platform challenges.
- Previous exposure to digital learning tools, Learning Management Systems, Docebo, or Google Workspace.
Responsibilities
- Partner with subject matter experts to gather learning assets and present their expertise within the digital learning ecosystem.
- Manage course publishing and media uploads in the Learning Management System while maintaining content governance and metadata standards.
- Explore and test system capabilities as the learning platform experience evolves.
- Organize and publish content across professional development programs in support of the People Experience team.
- Monitor learner engagement, collect user feedback, and propose user experience enhancements.
