About The Position

Turner Pest Control is seeking a People & Culture Specialist to join their team. This role will provide day-to-day operational support across Turner Pest Control's Florida locations. The specialist will play an important role in creating a positive employee experience by supporting recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, HRIS administration, employee questions, compliance, training, and engagement initiatives. They will serve as a first point of contact for employees and help ensure People & Culture processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company policies and values. Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to two years of human resources or administrative experience, preferably supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits, or payroll.
  • Foundational knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and applicable employment laws.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday, ADP, or comparable HRIS and payroll systems is preferred.
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment and onboarding in a multi-site or field-based organization is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
