About The Position

The People & Culture Generalist is responsible for administering key People & Culture programs and processes that support the team member experience throughout the employment lifecycle. This role serves as the primary administrator for benefits, leave, accommodation, unemployment, and compliance-related programs while partnering with People & Culture leadership on more complex employee matters. The Generalist ensures programs are administered consistently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • Be a TPS brand ambassador
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience supporting benefits administration, leave management, compliance, or employee lifecycle processes
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience working with HRIS systems; Paycom preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work onsite in Acton, MA, four days per week

  • Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and external partners preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support employee relations processes through documentation, follow-up, and coordination while partnering with People & Culture leadership on escalated team member matters.
  • Coordinate accommodation requests, maintain required documentation, and facilitate the administrative aspects of the ADA interactive process in partnership with People & Culture leadership.
  • Maintain records, tracking, and follow-up related to accommodations and leave programs
  • Serve as the primary administrator for benefit programs, responding to employee inquiries, partnering with benefit vendors, and supporting annual enrollment activities.
  • Serve as the primary People & Culture contact for benefit, leave, and workers' compensation vendors to ensure timely issue resolution and program administration.
  • Support leave of absence and return-to-work processes in partnership with third-party administrators
  • Manage unemployment claim administration, including documentation preparation, claim responses, tracking, and hearing coordination.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to People & Culture leadership to support retention and engagement initiatives.
  • Support performance management processes, including corrective action and related documentation
  • Coordinate severance administration, including required documentation and internal approvals
  • Draft and distribute People & Culture communications as needed
  • Create, update, and maintain SOPs and process documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve People & Culture programs, processes, and team member experience while supporting implementation of department initiatives.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for benefits, leave administration, unemployment, and accommodation processes.
  • Provide cross-functional support to ensure continuity of People & Culture operations
