About The Position

Dulcedo is looking for an Associate Director, People & Culture who thrives at the intersection of operational excellence and strategic execution. In this pivotal role, you will play a central part in translating high-level HR initiatives into daily operational success across Dulcedo’s multiple business units. Acting as the vital bridge between our visionary goals and our daily operational heartbeat, you will provide sophisticated mentorship and oversight to our P&C Managers, ensuring that consistency, compliance, and high performance are woven into the fabric of the entire Group. This is a role for a poised leader who can stabilize high-priority divisions and foster a culture of accountability and global growth as we scale the Dulcedo legacy internationally. Requirements

  • Strategic visionary with a demonstrated ability to translate high-level vision into daily operational execution and scalable HR systems.
  • 7+ years of experience in People & Culture, with a proven track record in advisory or leadership roles within high-growth, SMEs environments.
  • Proven people leader with experience coaching senior HR partners/managers and setting a high bar for judgment, consistency, and a refined sense of discretion.
  • Cross-border expert with a strong command of employment standards and labor laws across Quebec (including Bill 96), Ontario, and the United States.
  • Impactful storyteller in both English and French, possessing the presence required to influence senior leadership and lead diverse teams with confidence.
  • Agile and composed lead who thrives in the high-stakes, fast-paced landscape of the sports, entertainment, and digital culture industries.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Ensure HR policies, practices, and systems are consistently applied across divisions, tailored to each unit’s unique reality and leadership style.
  • Team Development: Provide hands-on coaching and strategic oversight to our P&C Managers and their teams, driving professional excellence across the HR function.
  • Strategy Execution: Translate company-wide people strategy into actionable plans, including performance cycles, engagement initiatives, and organizational development.
  • Employee Experience: Standardize and elevate all HR touchpoints from onboarding to exit processes, to ensure a consistent, world-class experience.
  • Strategic Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between business unit leaders and the P&C Director, ensuring transparency, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure labor law compliance across QC, ON, and US jurisdictions, guiding managers through complex employee relations and disciplinary matters.
