About The Position

The People Consultant is part of Okta’s Manager Success & Experience team, which supports managers through an AI-first model combining digital coaching and self-service resources with experienced human advisory. The consultant independently manages advisory cases that need deeper diagnosis, tailored coaching, or problem-solving beyond AI guidance and standard playbooks. Supporting managers across the full manager lifecycle, the role addresses leadership effectiveness, employee development, team dynamics, organizational change, performance management, and early-stage employee relations. The consultant owns cases from assessment through resolution or specialist handoff, using sound judgment within established decision-making frameworks to address root causes, build manager capability, and inform improvements to AI guidance and support resources. This is a hybrid role requiring work in the San Francisco or Chicago office two days a week. The team partners with AI resource teams, Enablement, and regional specialists to strengthen manager capabilities and continuously improve the support experience.
