About The Position

As an intern in the People Center, you will have the opportunity to learn about each of the critical functions within Human Resources that shape the employee experience at National Life. You will rotate through two areas of the People Center, gaining hands on experience in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Organizational Development. Throughout this rotation, you will work on meaningful projects that impact our programs and processes in partnership with business leaders on the People team. Requirements

  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.00
  • Working towards a degree in Human Resources Management, rising Senior preferred
  • Coursework in human resources, organizational development, communications, or related area preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools with interest in learning new tools and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Leverage approved AI tools, where appropriate, to improve efficiency, quality and impact of their work.
  • Stay curious and open to new AI-enabled ways or working
  • Exercise sound judgement by reviewing and validating AI-generated content
  • Maintain accountability for the accuracy, quality, fairness and integrity of work products by adhering to National Life’s AI guiding principles
  • Use AI responsibly and in accordance with company policies related to confidentiality, data privacy, security, compliance, retention and intellectual property
