About The Position

Aon is hiring a People Business Partner to support Aon’s Global Corporate Functions (Finance, Legal & Compliance and Marketing & Communication). This role involves reporting to the HR Director and supporting ABS People Managers and senior leaders globally. The primary focus is on implementing key people initiatives and organizational change, liaising with stakeholders across different solution lines to ensure strategy is translated into action. The role offers an opportunity to collaborate with senior global leaders, drive organizational change, and support talent initiatives and workforce programs across Aon Business Services. It is ideal for someone with a strong execution attitude who enjoys managing multiple priorities, navigating change, and delivering high-quality results within a global environment.

Requirements

  • Solid HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or People Partner experience within a complex, global organization.
  • Strong execution approach with demonstrated experience managing organizational changes, restructuring initiatives, talent programs, or cross-functional HR projects.
  • Excellent communication, collaborator management, and influencing skills, with the confidence to work directly alongside senior executives across multiple geographies.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and remain resilient in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including experience using people data and compensation insights to support business decisions.
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal, with experience working in an international environment.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Curious, proactive, diligent, and energized by delivering meaningful outcomes through collaboration, organization, and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Confidently influence, coach, and counsel people leaders on people related matters to foster a strong Aon United culture of inclusion, courage, connection, and accountability.
  • Translate business goals into practical recommendations and manager-ready actions to continuously improve implementation of the operating model, team structures, and leader effectiveness.
  • Support and drive the annual cycle activities (performance, talent, calibration) across client groups translate to favorable outcomes in retention, engagement, performance, and talent management.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of people organization programs and plans, partner with COEs to facilitate communication, change management, and adoption.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support informed compensation and broader people decisions.
  • Act as trusted advisor to leaders and managers on HR queries (policies, job changes, performance management, hiring strategy and process questions).
  • Drive workforce plans for each client you support, encouraging managers and leaders to find new ways of using talent to ensure SIB and expense budgets are met.
  • Collaborate with Center of Excellences (COEs) to innovate and design strategic, practical and pragmatic solutions to improve engagement and performance, representing the voice of your clients.
  • Play an active role in embedding inclusion into all talent processes, coach senior leaders and their teams on how to lead inclusively, demonstrating our I&D framework and COE.
  • Take on special projects that drive value for the firm and have a direct positive impact on our ability to support the company and our clients.
