About The Position

We are looking for a People Business Partner to support our Technology organization, including approximately 225 employees and 20 people leaders across San Jose and our global offices. As one of the PBPs supporting our Technology teams, you will work with peer PBPs, leaders, and specialist teams to give leaders consistent support. You will translate business priorities into practical workforce, talent, leader and organization actions through change.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success as a People or HR Business Partner with primary responsibility for a complex technical or product portfolio.
  • Experience advising leaders and coaching a substantial portfolio of leaders through workforce, performance, talent and organizational change.
  • Strong leader-coaching skills, including the ability to challenge constructively and reinforce accountability.
  • Experience leading workforce planning, talent or performance processes, or organization change from diagnosis through follow-through.
  • Working knowledge of California employment practices and sound judgment about when to engage Employee Relations or Legal.
  • Ability to analyze workforce information and translate it into clear recommendations for leaders.
  • Clear written communication, practical leader guidance, discretion, organization and the ability to influence across functions, levels and locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in semiconductors, hardware, engineering or another product-development environment.
  • Experience partnering across the United States and Asia or another globally distributed organization.
  • Experience with organization design, workforce analytics, succession planning or change leadership.
  • Experience in a rapidly scaling or public company.
  • Experience improving People practices through responsible use of analytics, AI, automation or employee self-service.
