As a People and Culture Specialist (14 months maternity leave replacement), you will provide essential support to headquarters employees while acting in an advisory role for managers and supervisors. You will be the key point of contact to ensure harmonious labor relations and the day-to-day optimization of our P&C processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar human resources role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, business administration, or a related field of study.
  • Strong knowledge of Quebec labor laws, benefits programs, and payroll systems.
  • Proficiency in the Google Suite, with specific expertise in Google Sheets.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, submit, and rigorously validate all data required for payroll processing.
  • Act as the primary point of contact to answer daily questions from employees and managers regarding payroll, insurance, letters, and policies.
  • Actively collaborate in implementing and continuously improving People and Culture programs, processes, and policies.
  • Take ownership of disability files, workplace accidents, leaves of absence, and preventive withdrawals.
  • Maintain accurate employee files and guarantee the integrity of all people & culture data.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes by coordinating activities to ensure an optimal employee experience.
  • Participate actively in the workplace health and safety committee to promote continuous improvement of safe practices.
  • Manage employee relations cases at headquarters, including disciplinary files and escalations as needed.
  • Assist with P&C reporting and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
