People Analytics Co-op (Spring 2027)

About The Position

This is a 6-month (January 4th–June 25th, 2027) paid co-op experience out of our Boston, MA headquarters. Co-ops are required to be onsite 5 days per week in our Boston, MA office. As a People Analytics Co-op at Klaviyo, you'll sit within our People team, working on the data side of HR. You'll partner with HR Business Partners on ad-hoc analyses, help automate manual HR processes with data, and work with our Analytics Engineering team to build your SQL skills, bridging how data lives in our HRIS system versus how it shows up in Snowflake, and documenting what you learn along the way. This role is designed for students curious about people data, whether or not HR is the career path they've landed on. Expect real projects (the kind you can talk through in a future job interview), plus a mix of tactical and open-ended work so you can figure out what you enjoy most.

Requirements

Currently working toward an undergraduate degree (grad date between May 2028 and May 2029) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Psychology, or a related field
Someone people trust with sensitive information, and who carries themselves professionally because of it
At home in Google Sheets, formulas and all, and comfortable breaking a messy question into pieces to work it through to an answer

Nice To Haves

Have taken a stats, strategy, or data visualization class
Have worked through a data-oriented project from start to finish, like an experiment or case study
Have prior experience or coursework in HR or a related field

Responsibilities

Partner with HR Business Partners to produce ad-hoc analyses using our existing dashboards
Work across the People team to identify HR processes that can be automated using data
Partner with our Analytics Engineering team to build your SQL skills and learn how to turn data into answers for stakeholders
Help bridge how data is entered in our HRIS System with how it shows up in Snowflake, and document what you learn so the rest of the team benefits from it
Build skills in Claude to automate repetitive analytics tasks
