About The Position

This position is for a Pelvic Physical Therapist in an outpatient women's care setting, embedded within Women's Care clinics supporting a local OBGYN practice. The role involves rotating between multiple locations: Morehead Medical Plaza, Arboretum, and Ballantyne. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, with hours typically between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, depending on the practice's needs. A key requirement for this role is prior experience in Pelvic Physical Therapy.

Requirements

  • Pelvic Physical Therapy Experience needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy program required.
  • Applicable state license for Physical Therapy required.
  • BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates patients, selects and administers assessment techniques, and synthesizes information to establish an appropriate patient care plan, including necessary modalities, procedures, exercise programs, therapeutic groups, and patient education, considering the patient's diagnosis, condition, age, and discharge needs.
  • Gathers and interprets appropriate data from the medical record, physician reports, patient, and/or family.
  • Establishes functional goals in conjunction with the patient and provides evidence-based intervention to work towards meeting these goals, with ongoing assessment to adjust the plan of care as needed.
  • Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, daily treatment notes, attendance records, patient/family education, outcomes, discharge notes, and charges as needed.
  • Communicates patient's evaluation and subsequent progress to physician, referral sources, and other clinical staff.
  • Coordinates patient's schedule and treatment programs, and discharge planning.
  • Provides supervision of PTA's and Rehab Tech/Aide as required for licensure.
