About The Position

We're looking for a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist who is passionate about treating pelvic health conditions across all genders and a wide variety of diagnoses. Whether you're just beginning your pelvic health journey or bringing years of experience, we'd love to support your growth and help you build a rewarding career at IRG Physical & Hand Therapy's South Sound Marketplace Clinic. Our Market Place providers extend beyond the walls of the clinic. We are passionate about improving access to care, educating the community, and building meaningful relationships with local healthcare providers. You’ll find a thriving caseload with established relationships with local Midwives, Doulas, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Surgeons. Community volunteer opportunities include CapitAl Marathon medical tent, the largest marathon in Washington. Organized pelvic health education seminars at local gyms and community women's health events. Willingness to build partnerships with colleges and community organizations to expand awareness and inspire the next generation of clinicians. Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain licensure in the state of practice).
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations.
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical processes and responsibilities.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, coordinate, and perform a broad variety of tasks and stay focused on the objective in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

  • Treat pelvic health conditions across all genders and a wide variety of diagnoses.
  • Provide one hour of dedicated 1:1 mentorship each week for the first 12 months (for new graduates).
  • Support to achieve career goals while developing pelvic health expertise.
  • Collaborate, learn, and build clinical confidence through weekly Pelvic Health Huddles (for experienced providers).
  • Mentor and support future clinicians (for experienced providers).
  • Improve access to care, educate the community, and build meaningful relationships with local healthcare providers.
  • Participate in community volunteer opportunities, including the CapitAl Marathon medical tent.
  • Organize and conduct pelvic health education seminars at local gyms and community women's health events.
  • Build partnerships with colleges and community organizations to expand awareness and inspire the next generation of clinicians.
