About The Position

Myo is establishing a new clinic in Manhattan Beach in Fall 2026 and is seeking to build its founding team. This is a full-time role for a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist who will be instrumental in defining the clinical standards, shaping the culture, and introducing the Myo experience to the community from the outset. The clinic will cater to a diverse clientele including surfers, runners, athletes, professionals, and families who prioritize movement, performance, longevity, and proactive healthcare. Myo's approach, 'FutureProof the body,' aims to enhance global body IQ by improving movement, fostering body awareness, and encouraging proactive health management through a structured 5-phase FutureProof Framework: Decrease Pain, Align & Repair, Learn How to Move, Build Strength, and Move With Purpose. The company emphasizes that pain relief is just the initial step, with the ultimate goal of achieving lasting functional change and providing clinicians with a clear framework for confident and purposeful care delivery.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure in California.
  • Strong commitment to high-quality assessment, hands-on care, and movement-based treatment.
  • Interest in working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional, clinical, and business development.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients and teammates.

Nice To Haves

  • Pelvic Health/Pelvic Floor specialization through clinical experience, residency, continuing education, or board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in establishing the clinical standard, client experience, and team culture at the newest Los Angeles clinic.
  • Deliver thoughtful 1:1 care through strong clinical reasoning, personalized treatment, and meaningful client relationships.
  • Work closely with clinicians, Front Desk teammates, and clinic leaders to create a seamless client experience and strong clinic culture.
  • Own your caseload through proactive communication, follow-up, and accountability to client outcomes and clinic growth.
  • Take initiative in supporting community engagement, referral relationships, and raising the standard of care.
  • Bring curiosity, professionalism, and a growth mindset to mentorship, feedback, and continued development.
  • Treat fewer than 8 clients per day in a true one-on-one care model.
  • Practice in a collaborative clinical environment with ongoing case discussions and peer learning.
  • Represent Myo at major events and activations, including the LA Marathon, NYC Marathon, Erewhon, Lululemon SeaWheeze, and more.
