About The Position

The Pega Developer will play a critical role in implementing and enhancing business rules, workflows, and case management functionality. This position involves designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining business rules, processes, and workflows using Pega Platform (Constellation and Cosmos React). The role also includes implementing complex case management solutions within the Enterprise Case Management (ECM) environment to support tax credit application intake, validation, adjudication, and fraud review. The developer will integrate Pega-based solutions with various enterprise systems and support fraud detection initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing in Pegasystems Constellation and Cosmos React
• Strong expertise in Pega Platform (Rules, Case Management, Decisioning, Integration Services, and UI development)
• Proven experience implementing Pega solutions in large-scale, regulated environments
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Pega Constellation & Cosmos React (advanced)
• Pega Business Process Management & Case Management
• JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST/SOAP APIs
• SQL and data modeling
• Agile tools (JIRA, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines)

Nice To Haves

• Solid understanding of tax processing, case management, or public benefits systems is highly desired
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
• AWS GovCloud integration knowledge (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain business rules, processes, and workflows using Pega Platform (Constellation and Cosmos React)
• Implement complex case management solutions within the Enterprise Case Management (ECM) environment to support tax credit application intake, validation, adjudication, and fraud review
• Develop and integrate Pega-based solutions with a web portal, Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), Enterprise API Gateway, and legacy systems
• Build and optimize reusable rules, decisioning logic, and business process automation
• Support Fraud Detection and Reporting initiatives by developing enhanced adjudication interfaces, data imports, and real-time monitoring capabilities
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Pega applications
• Collaborate with Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) to refine user stories, participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure all Pega deliverables meet IRS security, privacy, and Section 508 accessibility standards
