About The Position
Provide individual and/or group tutoring to peers students for assigned content area(s). Meet with peers to clarify and review concepts taught in class, explain processes, and help students solve specific problems.
Requirements
- Completion of 9th and 10th grade high school education.
- No experience required.
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Responsibilities
- Provide subject-specific content tutoring to help peer students.
- Help peer students become more confident, more successful, and self-directed learners.
- Use active listening strategies to allow peer student to determine content and pace of tutoring.
- Make appropriate referrals to other campus and community resources as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
