About The Position
Barry County Community Mental Health Authority is seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our peer support team! In this role, you will use your lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery to provide hope, support, and guidance to individuals receiving services. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery, self-advocacy, and overall wellness.
Requirements
- Lived experience with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use recovery required.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Personal vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Use lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery to provide hope, support, and guidance to individuals receiving services.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery, self-advocacy, and overall wellness.
