This is a full-time position that will provide peer recovery support services and care coordination services to individuals in St. Mary's County who are experiencing homelessness and are diagnosed with or identifying as having substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and/or co-occurring disorders. This position will also guide, support, and assist individuals and families on the recovery continuum focusing on Harm Reduction pathways. It will facilitate the planning and implementation of recovery support activities including in person and virtual Naloxone training for individuals and the community. Additionally, the role involves distributing and promoting harm reducing materials at the St. Mary's County Health Department (SMCHD), SMCHD satellite office, and all other outreach locations as appropriate.
