This position assists our clients in developing daily living opportunities for parents with children with chronic and persistent mental illness. The Peer Support Specialist applies the tools developed in their own journey as well as the philosophy and values of Intentional Peer Support to collaborate, coach, and build relationships with peers. This position can be based out of the Rumford or South Paris Office, with a service area of Oxford County, is per diem (no guarantee of hours and up to 15 hours per week), and schedule must meet the needs of the peers in the community, including some evenings, occasional weekend coverage, and meeting clients in non-traditional locations.
