This role involves working holidays and weekends as peer support is needed 365 days a year, with a primary work schedule of 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM Mountain Time (MT). As a Peer Support Specialist, you will engage with the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line (NMCAL), connecting with diverse individuals seeking support. You will build empowering peer relationships, offering hope, recovery, and support services by sharing your lived experience with those reaching out to the New Mexico Peer-to-Peer Warmline. Specialists work closely in a structured environment, participating in ongoing meetings, training, and team-building activities. Handling confidential information professionally and maintaining a continued commitment to your own recovery are essential.
