Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) is a non-profit organization with over 100 years of service in Spokane, dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment for individuals with behavioral health issues. As a Trauma-Informed Care Organization, FBH believes in client recovery and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. The Forensic Housing and Recovery through Peer Services (HARPS) Team specifically utilizes the Permanent Supportive Housing and Housing First model to assist individuals who meet the definition of Trueblood Class Members. This team offers housing assistance, case management focused on housing access and retention, employment services, activities of daily living support, and social/interpersonal skill development. Participants benefit from short-term housing bridge subsidies and connections to long-term providers for mental health, substance use treatment, and foundational community supports. Peer Support Specialists play a crucial role in promoting community integration, resiliency, and quality of life by sharing relevant personal experiences to foster hope and reduce stigma.
