Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) is a non-profit organization with over 100 years of service in Spokane, dedicated to understanding and addressing the behavioral health needs of the community. FBH offers evidence-based treatment for adults, youth, and seniors, operating as a Trauma-Informed Care Organization that believes in recovery and empowering clients to lead fulfilling lives. The organization provides a variety of services including outpatient, inpatient, community outreach, and crisis services, often in partnership with schools and law enforcement. A key goal of these programs is to divert individuals from emergency departments, the criminal justice system, and inpatient psychiatric treatment by maximizing community resources for stabilization. The Mobile Crisis Assessment and Triage (MCAT) team, part of the Mobile Response, Recovery, and Re-entry Team (MRRCT), serves individuals aged 21 and older. This role is integral to the MRRCT, a rapid response mobile outreach program that provides services in various community settings to stabilize individuals during crisis events. The primary objective is to prevent unnecessary emergency department visits, incarceration, and inpatient psychiatric admissions when community resources are sufficient for crisis management. Peer Support Services focus on promoting recovery, rehabilitation, self-advocacy, development of natural supports, maintenance of community living skills, and self-sufficiency.
