About The Position

As a Peer Specialist with the Creative Recovery Program at Chartiers Center, you would promote and contribute to the development of a culture of recovery and empowerment within and outside the Agency. Job duties include: Engage individuals and support efforts to maintain and develop health and wellness through targeted social activities in our Creative Recovery Program. Develop and implement structured group activities within the facility and in the community. Coach individuals in managing and improving lifestyle factors which impact wellness and quality of life. Provide information about recovery and wellness through provision of direct program services to individuals and groups.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or GED
• Personal recovery experience
• Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

• Peer Specialist Certification preferred
