This clerkship represents a graduate assistantship for the student clerk. The student will serve in a clerkship capacity, providing direct clinical services while receiving instructional training and supervision from the University. The clerk’s activities will include both direct provision of services and clinical supervision as well as educational activities such as grand rounds and case conferences on developmental pediatrics. Clinical tasks will consist primarily of behavioral, cognitive, and developmental assessments in a variety of outpatient settings. Other, secondary opportunities (e.g. follow patients’ medical progress, provide needed consultation for rehabilitative services, collaborative research) may also be available depending on the student’s expertise/interests and the needs of the training site.
