About The Position

Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Admissions Clerk to join our team! This role arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of outpatient testing or procedures. It ensures that patient information is collected and entered into the computer system accurately, and that all patients are aware of Pediatric policies and procedures. The Admissions Clerk interviews incoming patients or representatives and enters required admission information into the computer, distributing appropriate information to all ancillary departments. A 95% accuracy rate quarterly on all admissions is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Current BLS Certification.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Arrange for the efficient and orderly admission of outpatient testing or procedures.
• Ensure patient information is collected and entered into the computer system accurately.
• Inform patients of Pediatric policies and procedures.
• Interview incoming patients or representatives and enter required admission information into the computer.
• Distribute appropriate information to all ancillary departments.
• Maintain a 95% accuracy rate quarterly on all admissions.
